1) The Apple iPhone 5 (no official price at the moment)

Apple iPhone, which is scheduled for release during August 2012, is a Touch Bar phone that weighs about 144 grams and has a memory capacity of about 5.64 GB. It is a thin phone with a talk time of about 13 hours in 4G Mode and about 13 hours in 3G modes.

It has a touch screen display with a 4 inch screen and comes with an 8 megapixel rear camera that has auto focus and dual LED, and front digital camera for video calling. It also has the A5 chip and comes with iCloud service and NFC.

2) The Samsung Galaxy III (Priced at $250)

One of the coolest smartphones around! Samsung has a masterpiece in the Galaxy S III model that is not only a great performer but is also the most powerful Android phone in the market.

It has a brilliant display on a 4.6 inch screen, 2GB RAM, good battery life and a super 12 megapixel camera and more. However, it has a slight heating problem and may be a bit big for some.

3) Apple iPhone 4S (Priced at $300)

Little to be said about this Apple smartphone model, but its super fast with a A5 processor and an advanced operating system and a huge amount of smart apps.

The negative side is that it cannot make use of even faster 4G cellular networks.

4) Apple iPhone 4 (Priced at $200)

Another stunning smartphone with impressive if not the best display feature among smartphones but has a low batter life. It weighs less than 5 ounces has video calling functions with access to many apps and it did create uproar when it entered the smartphones market.

5) HTC Thunderbolt (Priced at $250)

The Thunderbolt has an android 2.2 OS and has a fast 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, but has a short battery life.

6) Samsung Infuse 4G (Priced at $200)

Beautifully designed the Infuse 4G is powerful and comes with the Android 2.2 operating system and a Super AMOLED touchscreen. It has a 4.5 inch touchscreen and one of the thinnest bodies with dual cameras.

7) T-Mobile G2x (Priced at $150)

T-Mobile G2x comes with multimedia features and is perfect for a gaming enthusiast. It also has 4G facilities, the Android 2.2 operating system, and a dual core processor. It however has a low battery life.

8) The Nokia Lumia 900 (Priced at $100)

Nokia’s Windows Phone 7-toting Lumia 800 was a hit in 2011. Now its successor, the Lumia 900 has been released completed with Windows Phone 7 (Tango)

Another advanced smartphone with a dual-core processor, many apps and long battery life. Ideal for someone on the go. However, it only has a 720p HD recording.

Comes with a variety of advanced features such as video chat capabilities, SWYPE, tethering and 4G technology. Has a 1 GHz processor, runs on Android 2.2 OS, and has a 10 hour talk time on a single battery charge. It also has HD recording capabilities.
